In Ucraina una folla inferocita ha attaccato con lancio di sassi, e accendendo fuochi, alcuni pullman che trasportavano un gruppo di 45 cittadini ucraini e 27 stranieri rimpatriati con un volo da Wuhan. L’episodio, avvenuto in piena notte fra l’aeroporto di Kharkiv, dove i rimpatriati sono atterrati, e l’ospedale di Novi Sanzhary, dove erano diretti per un periodo di quarantena, potrebbe essere stato innescato da una falsa e-mail del ministero della Salute ucraino secondo il quale i rimpatriati, in realtà tutti negativi ai test, avrebbero contratto il virus.
