Pakistan: Khan presta giuramento premier

Il leader pachistano ed ex campione di cricket, Imran Khan, ha presto oggi giuramento come primo ministro del Paese dopo la vittoria del suo partito alle elezioni del mese scorso.

L’Assemblea nazionale del Pakistan lo aveva eletto premier ieri con 176 preferenze (172 quelle necessarie) contro le 96 del candidato dell’opposizione, Shahbaz Sharif, della Lega musulmana (Plm-N).

Alle elezioni del 25 luglio il partito di Khan, il Tehreek-e-Insaf, ha ottenuto il maggior numero di seggi ma non la maggioranza assoluta. Il suo mandato durerà 5 anni.
