epa04827402 Indonesian residents walk past as Indonesian military personnel and police officers search for ammunition and the remains of the victims after the military plane crash at the crash site in Medan, North Sumatra, Indonesia, 02 July 2015. An engine malfunction is likely the cause for the crash of an Indonesian military plane in Medan, Indonesian Air Force chief says. At least 142 people were confirmed dead after a military plane crashed into Indonesia's third-largest city of Medan, as the search for victims ended. The Hercules C-130 aircraft ploughed into houses and commercial buildings on 30 June 2015 two minutes after leaving the Soewondo airbase in Medan, the capital of North Sumatra province.
